Issue Position

Under Republican leadership, Ohio has become one of the leading states in job growth over the past several years. We are doing better, but better isn't good enough.

To keep the momentum going, we need to continue to promote tax reform and cut income taxes so Ohioans keep more of their hard earned money. For small businesses, the drivers of our economy, we will further reduce taxes so they can reinvest in their business and grow our economy.

We also need to make sure Ohio's workforce is prepared to take advantage of new opportunities. We will expand the Senate's workforce development revolving loan fund to help those who are underemployed get the assistance they need to move up the ladder and better support themselves and their families.
